Food court and malls

After much deliberation I finally made it to the Bloggers meet in Mid Valley this morning. Thank God, I arrived slightly after 10am otherwise Mid Valley's infamous traffic would have stopped me.

This bloggers meet was my first and I had fun. It was nice to put the face to the name/blog and I figured I wont be blogging too much about it since most of those who went today would have do anyways.

While I am at this topic, the crowd at Mid Valley today was horrible as compared to 1-Utama and Ikano Power Centre, to which I was kind of surprised. The food court on level 3 was filled with people and one of the many reasons I dont ever take my meals in the food court, not only in Mid Valley but for that matter, any food court in a mall is the food is horrible and there are some "inconsiderate" people who jumped queue as I had witnessed today while getting lunch at Mid Valley. So when I dont have to I hardly ever goes to any food court as most of my close friends can testify, neither do they.

Mid Valley is not a good place to go on a weekend and it took me almost 30 minutes to get out of the carpark only to discover they had temporarily shut off the lane that leads to PJ so I had to take another route and got stuck in the jam for another good 20 minutes or so. I would have stayed on with the rest at Starbucks but I had another bloggers meet to attend, of which I had just gotten back from not too long ago.
